FOOD PANTRIES

  • Good for Partnerships -. Hunger and food insecurity are realities everywhere – even on college campuses. As a college education becomes less and less affordable, more students are forced to live on a shoestring budget. In recent years, this problem has prompted many campuses to establish food pantries to help students in need.

  • Good for the Environment - Food pantries and food banks are life-changing, life-saving organizations for the millions of people who face hunger every day.

  • Good for the Community -Food pantries fill in the gaps where people would otherwise fall through the legal system’s cracks.
